How I Work

Set a Date Many writers say that if you wait for a ‘eureka’ moment, you’ll never do anything. This could be written for me, so I set aside 1 day per week for painting and tell friends and family I’m not available. |
|
Set up for oils I like all my equipment laid out so it’s within easy reach but allows me room to work.. Must Haves overalls; a bin; a brush cleaning pot; kitchen roll and/or newspaper and my decorating sheets for floor and nearest furniture - I’m a tad messy! |

!!Tip of the week If you are using photographs and reference materials, stand them on a spare easel or recipe book stand. If they are not laminated, cover them with cling film. |
|
No excuses -Slap it On I always have plenty of reference material - photographs, drawings etc. to hand, so there’s no excuse. I won’t spend too long thinking before touching brush to canvas (chickening out)!! |
